As Olympic Week approaches, many freshman excitedly anticipate the upcoming events and festivities. One freshman, Noelle Wardian, explained her knowledge of the mainly unknown week. “I chose to play volleyball as my event because I played in middle school, and I thought it would be fun to play again with some of my Bellarmine friends!”

When asked what event she was most excited to watch, she said “Jenga or karaoke because I know there will be a really fun energy in the room, and everyone will be super excited.”

Another freshman, Jake Leischner, is looking forward to participating in handball. “I hear Olympic Week is awesome, and I can’t wait to play with my friends against other Collegios!”

When asked what he was excited to watch, he said “definitely human foosball! I’ve never seen it before, and I bet it will be really fun.”
Overall, the Class of 2020 is ready to take on Seattle Prep in this year’s Olympic Week. Freshman are pumped to show off their skills and talents, and hopefully take home a winning medal.
